Hi, I’m Dr. Michelle Hu — pediatric audiologist, mom of four, bilateral cochlear implant user, and founder of Mama Hu Hears™. With almost two decades of clinical experience, I’ve supported thousands of families navigating the complexities of childhood deafness/hearing loss — and I’ve lived that journey myself.
Identified with progressive hearing loss as a toddler, I remember the mix of wonder and confusion that came with each stage of my hearing journey. Today, as a nationally recognized audiologist, speaker, published author, and clinical preceptor teaching the next generation of audiology students, I bring both personal insight and professional expertise to every resource I create.
This course is the one I wish my own parents had. It’s designed to give you more than just information — it offers confidence, clarity, and real-world tools to help you become your child’s strongest advocate.
If you’ve felt overwhelmed or unsure, you’re not alone — and you’re in the right place.
Let’s navigate this together.
