Who's behind this
I'm Dr. Michelle Hu.
I was diagnosed with hearing loss as a toddler and was profoundly deaf in both ears by ten. I went on to become a pediatric audiologist, and later a bilateral cochlear implant user myself. So when I tell you there is a whole life beyond the audiogram, I'm not guessing.
Mama Hu Hears started because families kept leaving my clinic with a diagnosis and no roadmap. Everything here is the version of that roadmap I'd want for my own kids.
