Is my child ready for these?
Start wherever you are. Read a card aloud, sign it, or hand it over. If one does not land, put it back and pull another. Plenty of families answer together with the grown-ups going first, and the lighter cards work as a game long before anyone is talking about listening fatigue.
We sign, or we use more than one language at home.
The cards are prompts, not a script. Sign them, speak them, write them, point at them. Several ask about signing directly, and the deck never assumes one communication mode is the right one.
